Ming-Na Wen describes her experience of playing Chun-Li and the final product that became the Street Fighter movie. Check out the full video of the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. panel at the Heroes & Villains FanFest San Jose 2017.
After Walker Stalker/Heroes & Villains FanFest San Jose 2018 ended last December, there was no announcement for the 2019 show. Six months later, I started looking for a reason. I found an comment on the official Facebook page for Walker Stalker in March that there would be no San Jose show in 2019. A similar announcement went up on the unofficial Facebook page for Heroes & Villains FanFest San Jose in August. Reasons cited was the venue being unavailable for the desired dates and the show wouldn’t make money. That wasn’t the entire story. The organizers behind Walker Stalker Con and Heroes & Villains Fan Fest are in deep trouble with fans, stars and vendors.Read more “Walker Stalker Con/Heroes & Villains FanFest Are Circling The Drain”
Ming-Na Wen at the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. panel for the Heroes & Villains FanFest 2017 in Downtown San Jose. Gives Brett Dalton and Hydra a hard time for not showing up. Talks about her early career (Street Fighter, The Joy Luck Club, Stargate Universe), recent stunt accident, and teasing her daughter.
During the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. panel at Heroes & Villains FanFest 2017 in San Jose, CA, Ming-Na Wen (Agent Melinda May) mentions how much she enjoys embarrassing Brett Dalton (Grant Ward) at similar fan events. A short while later, she pulls out her cellphone, calls Brett and leaves a message that he was too “chicken” to show up. (Brett grew up in Silicon Valley but currently lives and work in Los Angeles.) After the panel was over, Brett calls back and Ming-Na tells him that he was “chicken s**t” in front of roaring fans.
