My name is C.D. Reimer and welcome to my website!
I was born and raised in Silicon Valley when Santa Clara Valley still had orchards and canneries, the local barbershop had deer and moose heads mounted on the wall, and most people worked in the City (San Francisco). I’m one of the few “natives” still left in the area who can make that claim. Everyone else came from somewhere else — mostly Michigan. My family came from Idaho.
As a child of the 1970s and 1980s, I grew up on the Silicon Valley revolution that took place around me. I hung out in the arcades, played video games on the Atari 2600, and learned about computers from the Commodore 64.
Despite dropping out of high school and working in construction for a few years, I enrolled in the Adult Re-Entry Program at San Jose City College in 1991. It took four years to get my General Education A.A. degree.
